Architectural drawings for projects designed by Vegezzi, and drawings made by Vegezzi while he worked as a draftsman in the offices of Kenneth Franzheim and Allan B. Mills, Associate Arch.; Holabird and Root and Burgee; Benjamin Wistar Morris III; Rosenthal, Dessesls and Jones; Trylon Studios; and particularly McKim, Mead & White (81 drawings, 1923-1942).

Collection is made up of a scrapbook containing 2 pencil on trace sketches, newspaper clippings, and clippings from House and Gardens Magazine (ca 1922) relating to various residences not associated with the architect; 2 diplomas, one from the State Board of Examiners of Architects, Cook County, Chicago (1897) and the other from University of the State of New York State Board for the Registration of Architects (1916); 28 watercolor paintings (ca. 1907) depicting various locations in Europe, including Paris, Florence, Vevay, Versailles, and Venice; 34 pencil drawings of Beaux Art buildings, including residences designed by the architect and illustrations for Good Housekeeping Magazine; and photographs of Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals, which do not appear to have been taken by the architect.

Architectural drawings, specifications, manuscripts, printed materials, photographs, ephemera, collected by Hitchcock, and relating to the work of architects Henry Hobson Richardson and Frank Lloyd Wright, including a letter, 1940, from Wright to Hitchcock suggesting the writing of IN THE NATURE OF MATERIALS; the architectural firm Shepley, Rutan, and Coolidge; furniture designer Charles Rennie Macintosh; and miscellaneous and unidentified architects dating from the sixteenth century to the twentieth century, with the bulk dating from the nineteenth century.

Photographs of buildings located in Germany that were designed by Schneider. Miscellaneous architectural drawings, some done for architectural competitions, are also included.

This collection contains primarily drawings made by Danish-American architectural photographer Sigurd Fischer while he was a student in Denmark. Drawings include travel sketches, studies for furniture and lighting, a sailboat design, architectural designs, and a theatre poster. Also six issues of the weekly Danish journal ARCHITEKTEN
