In addition to personal correspondence and documents, there are files of Amnesty International, the human rights organization of which Morris was American Section chairman. Also included are notes and manuscripts of Morris' studies in Japanese literature and culture, particularly relating to his many books and translations. His interest in puzzles, and compilations of several volumes of them, are reflected in notes and correspondence. Correspondence consists of letters from a number of important cultural figures in the emigration, including: Ivan Bunin, Zinaida Guppius, Aleksandr Kuprin, Pavel Mili︠u︡kov, Alekseĭ Remizov, Nadezhda Teffi, and Alekseĭ Tolstoĭ; there are also one or two letters each from Konstantin Balḿont, Dmitriĭ Merezhkovskiĭ, Ili︠́a︡ Repin, Fedor Shali︠a︡pin, and Marina T︠S︡vetaeva. There are manuscripts of several works by Shpoli︠a︡nskiĭ, including his memoirs, "Poezd na tretém puti" (New York, 1954).

The collection contains RNK correspondence, documents, photographs, subject files, organizational records and printed materials. There are letters from Boris Bakhmeteff, Pavel and Petr Dolgorukov, Zinaida Gippius, Aleksandr Kutepov, Dmitrii Merezhovskii, Bernard Pares, Ariadna Tyrkova-Williams, George Vernadsky, and Petr Vrangel. There is a short essay by Aleksandra Tolstaia about her father. The manuscripts relate to political, historical and sociological issues. Most of the subject files relate to emigre organizations other than the RNK, while those of the RNK are classified into files of financial records, bulletins, minutes and lists of names and addresses. Among the printed materials are brochures and pamphlets, clippings, newspapers, and books.

Correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs and printed materials of Imre Kovács. The voluminous correspondence includes letters to and from his family in the U.S. and Hungary. The professional correspondence is primarily concerned with contemporary events in Hungary, Latin America and Asia and covers the years 1947-1980. Correspondents include many prominent Hungarians such as Belá Varga, Ferenc Nagy, Oscar Jaszi and Albert Szent-György. There are political and literary manuscripts, book reviews and lectures by Kovács, as well as background materials for his books "The Ninety and Nine" and "The Hearing." Subject files reflect Kovác's involvement with Hungarian emigre organizations and his work for Radio Free Europe and their Hungarian service. There are also files on the Free Europe Press and the Free Europe Committee. Kovác's 1957 trip to Asia and the Middle East is documented through correspondence, clippings and photographs. Similar coverage is provided for Kovác's 1963 trip to Latin America for the International Center for Social Research. There are related subject files on Latin American agrarian reform and campesino leadership training. Printed materials include articles by Kovács and others, as well as miscellaneous publications of the Hungarian emigration.

Correspondence, documents, diaries and notebooks, photographs, printed materials and memorabilia of Olga Ivanovna Subbotina (or Soubbotine, 1886-1963), her grandmother, Mariia Sergeevna Benckendorff, and her sister, Elizaveta Ivanovna Taube (Mrs. Harold Roberts). The correspondence includes letters and telegrams of Aleksandra Fedorovna, Empress of Russia. The letters of Mariia Benckendorff's son, Vasilii Dolgorukov, provide information about the Imperial family in 1916-1918. There are diaries and notebooks of Marii Benckendorff, Pavel Konstantinovich Benkendorff, Ol'ga Subbotina and Elizaveta Taube. Among the documents are IDs, birth and marriage certificates, passports, wills, etc. Financial and legal documents include a file entitled "Claim against the National Bank of New York", which contains material about the exile of the Imperial family to Tobolsk and Ekaterinburg, as do other folders. There are photographs of immediate and extended family members, Nicholas II and his family and European royalty. There is also family and Alexandra Fedorovna's, Empress of Russia, memorabilia.

The Sergei A. Zenkovskii Papers reflect professional activities of a prominent Russian scholar in exile. They consist of correspondence, writings, personal documents, bibliographic cards, and other research material related to the scholarship on Russia in the United States.
