The collection will eventually encompass his original art, sketchbooks (dating back to high school), correspondence, and the legal records of the lawsuit lodged against him by political cartoonist Ted Rall. The present installment includes original art on acetate from the years 1995 and 1996.

Correspondence, manuscripts, original political cartoons, printed and photostatic materials relating to the political and social activities of the Society of Tammany, or Columbian order. Most of the correspondence is concerned with the formation of the Kilroe Tammaniana Collection, Kilroe's collection of books, documents, manuscripts, posters, cartoons, etc. relating to Tammany Hall. Also, letters from various members of the Tammany organization. The manuscripts include typescripts of Kilroe's works such as A COMPLETE BIBLIOGRAPHY OF SAINT TAMMANY and TAMMANY HALL AND THE TAMMANY SOCIETIES IN THE UNITED STATES. In addition there are manuscript and typescript records of various Tammany Societies with particular emphasis on the New York City Society and the New York County Democratic Party organization. Among the cartoons are 22 by John Tinney McCutcheon (1870-1949), over half of which deals with Tammany and New York politics while the remainder concerns national politics with an emphasis on presidential campaigns.

The archive includes original comic art from his time at DC Comics, including the series he created, "'Mazing Man;" his Eisner-nominated graphic novel, "Lucky in Love;" and storyboards for "Venture Bros.," "Ren & Stimpy," etc., along with early comic art, sketchbooks, minicomics, and more. This collection reveals a working cartoonist's process, and also relates to the Danny Hellman, Bob Fingerman, and New York Comics Community collections.

This collection consists of 35 drawings, one clipping, and one copy of the Yiddish newspaper "The Big Stick" (December 24,1920 - fragile). It contains political content, as well as a drawing of Boris Bakhmeteff, another of Brander Matthews, and a cartoon referring to Florenz Ziegfeld.

The collection consists of 32 letters written by Samuel L. Clemens to Mary Benjamin Rogers (Mrs. H.H.), his niece by marriage, and four letters written to Clemens and forwarded by him to Mrs. Rogers with comments. The letters are very personal in tone, full of Clemens' well-known wit, and revealing of his personal characteristics. There are a few clippings, cartoons, and one photograph. Also, a collection of 18 letters written by Clemens to Dorothy Sturgis, 1908-1909, relating to the "Angel-Fish Aquarium." There is also one typescript of the Constitution of the Club"The Aquarium, Issued by the Admiral;" and a photograph album of the Mark Twain Dinner, 1905.

Almost all the materials concern World War II in the Soviet Union. Materials include reports, two diaries, documents, and printed materials. There are photocopies of reports concerning the German occuation of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, written by German military staff, and a mimeographed research report by Alexander Dallin entitled "Kaminsky: The History of an Experiment (1941-1945)." One diary is by Otto Bräutigam, a German Foreign Ministry official who worked in the Ministry for the Occupied Eastern Territories; the other diary is by one Linge, apparently a secretary to Hitler, for his diary is a record of Hitler's daily appointments from 1934-1943. Both diaries are photocopies. The printed materials include issues of a number of titles published mostly in the German-occupied parts of the Soviet Union; they are mostly single issues. Two pamphlets published by the Russian Liberation Army (ROA). There are photocopies of documents, cartoons, and leaflets concerning the partisan movement in the Soviet Union.

Papers, correspondence, manuscripts, clippings, and printed material relating to Dr. Bela Fabian's activities against the Communist government of Hungary. One microfilm reel of Hungarian political cartoons, including many caricatures of Fabian. Also, eighteen political cartoons by Bela and Ilona Fabian done at the time of the Cuban Missile crisis in 1961. These tend to be anti-Castro and anti-Khruschev.

Woodcuts, part colored, of cartoons drawn by Alfred Frueh (1880-1968) of theatrical personalities: Maude Adams, George Arliss, Ethel Barrymore, George M. Cohan, Katharine Cornell, John Drew, Robert Edson, Lionel Erroll, Lew Fields, Yvette Gilbert, William Gillette, Nat Goodwin, Annette Kellerman, Wilton Lackaye, Julia Marlowe, Nazimova, Olga Petrova, Will Rogers, Fritzi Schiff, Fred Stone, Sophie Tucker, and unidentified.

Papers of Lobeck while he was in Paris as Assistant to the Chief Cartographer of the American Commission to Negotiate Peace. Included are memorabilia, some correspondence, several docuements, and some photographs. The correspondence consists of his letters of appointment from Robert Lansing, Secretary of State, and his postcards to his wife, Bertha Merrill Lobeck, who later joined him in Paris. There are official documents such as passports, Commission memoranda, identification cards, and passes. Of particular interest are sixteen photographs of persons and places in France, and one drawing and one caricature of Lobeck that he sketched. The collection, however, is chiefly memorabilia of Lobeck's crossing the Atlantic on the U.S.S. George Washington with the members of the Commission; over 700 picture postcards, with no messages, of the Lobeck's travels in France, Spain, Great Britain, and other European countries; railway, subway, and bus maps, schedules, and tickets; tourist maps; hotel and restaurant receipts and menus; money; ration coupons; and theater programs.

Correspondence, photographs, and printed material by and relating to Benjamin Disraeli. There are nine letters from Disraeli to various persons including Sir Charles Adderly, First Baron Norton; the Duke of Northumberland; and Sir Henry Edwards. The letters span the dates 1849 to 1879. Also included are two letters from Disraeli's father, Isaac D'Israeli, 1766-1848, to Stephen Weston, 1805, and Edward Moxon, 1833, and a post card from William Ewart Gladstone. A letter from William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne to Sir William Owen (1837) has been removed from an extra-illustrated edition of "The Letters of Runnymede" (London, 1836) and cataloged for the collection.
