Abrikosov's memoirs (ca. 550p.) cover his childhood and school days, and his diplomatic service in England, China, and Japan. The first part of these memoirs (up to 1925) has been published as Revelations of a Russian Diplomat. The other manuscript is a diary of Abrikosov's trip through Mongolia to Peking, in June and July 1910, addressed to his father (77p.).

Vera V. and Viktor V. Vinter Papers, 1919-1966

Correspondence, manuscripts, diaries, documents, subject files and printed materials of Vera Vinter and of her husband, Viktor. There are letters from Igor ́Sikorskiĭ. All the correspondence dates from 1919 to 1969. Much of it concerns Vinter's scientific work dealing with the chemical analysis of milk. The manuscripts are primarily by Viktor Vinter himself, and include a number of articles he published in Czech, German, Finnish and American scientific journals. There are several diaries, notebooks and scrapbooks relating to his scientific endeavors. Among the documents are medical statements concerning his World War I injury, passports, and two folders relating to patents. The photographs are chiefly of the Vinter family. The printed materials include journals containing articles by Vinter.

Correspondence, manuscripts, and newspaper clippings of Nikolaĭ P. Vakar. The correspondence includes numerous letters by Aleksandr Konovalov and Anatoliĭ Velʹmin and one letter by Grand Duke Dimitriĭ Pavlovich. Among manuscripts are a short autobiography by Vakar, and the originals and copies of his diary from 1938-1940. The diary concerns such topics as emigre politics in Paris in this period. There are numerous clippings of newspaper pieces by Vakar. In addition, there is a long obituary of Vakar by Paul Friedrich.

Over 100 letters by Georgii Adamovich to Lidiia Chervinskaia. The letters are on both personal and professional topics. They cover the years 1952-1972, but most are from the 1950's. Related items in the collection include several poem manuscripts by Adamovich, and newspaper announcements of his death. In addition, there is a letter to Chervinskaia by another emigre writer, Georgii Ivanov.

There are over 300 letters by Gleb Struve wtitten from 1964 to 1983, which cover the above topics as well as Struve's personal and professional life.
