Autograph manuscripts of 22 of the 34 poems published in MUSIC AND MOONLIGHT, POEMS AND SONGS, 1874. Also included is "The Song of Aloe" a lyric complete in itself, but included in the long title poem. The collection is rich in interest to the student of poetic composition by virtue of its inclusion of a large number of successive drafts of the same poem, most of them with corrections. Also, sixteen autograph letters by Eleanor Marston O'Shaughnessy written to Arthur O'Shaughnessy before and after their marriage, and to other correspondents.

A collection of letters, engravings, prints, portraits, caricatures, other illustrations, and printed materials relating to Charles Dickens. Among the letters is an autograph letter by Dickens and copies of several Dickens letters to the publishers Lea & Blanchard. Many of the illustrations are portraits of Dickens while others are illustrations for his novels and stories, including numerous illustrations of scenes from dramatic versions of his works as well as some playbills for these productions.

Letters written to Havelock Ellis, including several drafts of his replies, and a few letters to his executrix, Mrs. Françoise Lafitte-Cyon. Nearly all of the letters relate to to Ellis' writings and their influence, as well as the work of his correspondents in the fields of sex studies, pornography, birth control, and pacifism. Correspondents include Henri Barbusse, André Breton, Elie Faure, Robert J. Gibbings, Julian Huxley, Desmond MacCarthy, Bronislaw Malinowski, Naomi Mitchison, John Middleton Murray, Henry S. Salt, and Marie Stopes.

Correspondence, photographs, and printed material by and relating to Benjamin Disraeli. There are nine letters from Disraeli to various persons including Sir Charles Adderly, First Baron Norton; the Duke of Northumberland; and Sir Henry Edwards. The letters span the dates 1849 to 1879. Also included are two letters from Disraeli's father, Isaac D'Israeli, 1766-1848, to Stephen Weston, 1805, and Edward Moxon, 1833, and a post card from William Ewart Gladstone. A letter from William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne to Sir William Owen (1837) has been removed from an extra-illustrated edition of "The Letters of Runnymede" (London, 1836) and cataloged for the collection.
