Correspondence of Dwight D. Eisenhower and his friend Bermingham who first met when Eisenhower became President of Columbia. During his tenure as Columbia's President and later, as commander of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Eisenhower exchanged long letters with Bermingham, outlining in detail his views of world affairs. When Eisenhower became President of the United States, the correspondence continued, and the two men met at least twice at the White House. The collection also includes a photograph of Eisenhower, inscribed to Bermingham; letters to Bermingham from Antonio Bermúdez, director of PEMEX, and Alexander Makinsky, president of the Coca Cola Export Corporation in Paris; and some correspondence between Bermingham and Eisenhower's aides.

The collection includes the production files for these limited edition and trade titles, as well as Steve Clay's extensive correspondence with writers and printers, and other artist book press proprietors. Electronic records include almost two decades of email, editorial and production files, and the "Archaic Smile Lecture Series".

Correspondence and works of Andre Racz, including one letter from Gabriela Mistral, 1952, a portrait of her (etching-aquatint), Ricz's etching (metal plate) for Mistral's POEMAS DE LAS MADRES (Santiago, Chile, 1950), a Christmas card, 1970, illustrated and signed by Racz, and a holograph of Thomas Merton's poem AUBADE--HARLEM, Racz's facsimile of this poem etched on a zinc plate, and his artist's proof pulled from the plate. Also, signature practice page for scroll presented to President Sovern by the Executive Committee of the Faculty in appreciation of his work as chairman, 1968.

The papers contain 273 drafts, manuscripts, and typescripts representing every genre in which Ms. Sophie Kerr worked along with correspondence, book artwork, and photographs. In addition, it includes 12 book-length manuscripts, the earliest being Love at Large, a novel published in 1916. The collection also holds books written by Sophie Kerr and volumes inscribed to her from her personal library.

This artificial collection consists of oversized posters, maps, newspapers, drawings, floor plans and architectural plans related to Columbia events, people and locations. The collection has been organized by subject matter.
