Nearly all the manuscripts are by Savit︠s︡kiĭ himself, and include essays on such topics as Suvorov and Napoleon Bonaparte, Pushkin, early foreign travelers in Russia, eternal youth, Russian art and engineering. There are subject files relating to Savit︠s︡kiĭ's father, Kazimir Antonovich Savit︠s︡kiĭ, who was chairman of the Severskiĭ Donet︠s︡ Railroad from about 1907 to 1920, and to the Obshchestvo li︠u︡biteleĭ russkoĭ voennoĭ stariny (Society of Russian Military History Enthusiasts), a Paris based emigre organization. The printed materials include clippings and several issues of "Russkiĭ Voenno-Istoricheskiĭ Vestnik" of which Savit︠s︡kiĭ was co-editor.
