The collection consists of 26 scrapbooks of clippings, mostly concerning military and naval history and the Imperial family. There are issues of "Morskoĭ zhurnal" from 1930-39, and several books on military and naval history.

The memoirs discuss World War I and also the Revolution and Civil War in the same area.

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, military reports and clippings. The majority of the collection consists of clippings from the emigre newspapers "Poslednie Novosti" and "Illi︠u︡strovannai︠a︡ Rossii︠a︡," and mostly contain Lukin's memoirs about his service in the Black Sea Fleet. The manuscripts are largely comprised of Lukin's memoirs and include a manuscript (20 p.) on the Krondstadt uprising, "Vo vlasti Kronshtadtskikh matrosov." There is also a manuscript (28 p.) by the widow of Admiral Viren entitled "O sobytii︠a︡kh v Kronshtadte."

Three typescripts by Graf: one is entitled"Imperator bez trona: Zapiski nachalńika kant︠s︡eli︠a︡rii (nabli︠u︡denii︠a︡ i mysli)" (596 p.), describes the history of the Monarchist movement. The other two manuscripts deal with the Imperial Navy. One is entitled "Na baltiĭskom flote: Period vozrozhdeni︠a︡ flota posle I︠A︡ponskoĭ voĭny, s 1906 g. do 1914 g." (359 p., 2 drafts); the other is entitled "Russkiĭ flot: Materi︠a︡ly dli︠a︡ izuchenii︠a︡ Russkoĭ voenno-morskoĭ frazeologii" (203 p.). It contains a glossary of naval terms.

Collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, notes, documents, financial records, photographs, subject files and printed materials. There are notes from Evgeniĭ Chirikov and Aleksandr Kuprin, and the autographs of Mark Aldanov, Ivan Bunin, and Nikolaĭ I︠U︡denich. There are manuscripts and notes by Mashukov and others, chiefly on the Civil War. Subject files also touch on the Civil War, as does much of the printed material.

The papers contain correspondence, reports, and financial records. The materials almost entirely date from 1919-22 and concern the Civil War and its immediate aftermath. There are several letters from General Nikolaĭ I︠U︡denich to Pilkin, and many letters and reports which passed between Pilkin and his assistants. The majority of the collection is made up of financial records, such as income and disbursements for the "Morskai︠a︡ organizat︠s︡ii︠a︡" in Paris (1919-22), and the "Morskoĭ fond" in Helsinski (1920-24); and subsidies disbursed to White naval personnel living in Estonia (1920-23).

The collection contains a manuscript (10 p.) entitled"Velikai︠a︡ kni︠a︡gini︠a︡ Anastasii︠a︡" and a memoir (54 p.) that deals with Makhonin's education at the Naval Engineering Academy in Kronstadt, Makhonin's service in the navy during World War I, his mission to England to inspect the production of war materials for Russia, his service in the Volunteer Army in the south of Russia during the Civil War, his work with the American Red Cross in Crimea, and information on General Krasnov's Cossack Army, which collaborated with the Germans during World War II.
