Photocopies of typescripts of reports and letters. These reports and letters, some of them in extract form, cover from September 1916 to April 1918, and total 623 pages. Also included is an offprint of an article by Ioanis Sinanoglou that was partly based on this material.

The papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, and printed materials. Correspondence includes 82 letters from Maksim Kovalevskiĭ to the mathematician Sofii︠a︡ Kovalevskai︠a︡; 69 letters from Petr Lavrov to Kovalevskiĭ; and letters to Kovalevskiĭ from Anton Chekhov (typed copies), Nikolaĭ Mikhaĭlovskiĭ, Pavel Mili︠u︡kov, Petr Struve, and Ivan Turgenev (typed copy). Manuscripts consist of Kovalevskiĭ's handwritten memoirs, with a typed copy and some printed excerpts. Documents consist of Kovalevskiĭ's diplomas from the University of Berlin (1873), the Russian Imperial Academy of Sciences (1899), and the Deputazione Veneta di Storia Patria (1901).

Records of the North American Committee to Aid Spanish Democracy and Medical Bureau to Aid Spanish Democracy, two New York City-based American organizations working to raise funds and provide medical and humanitarian aid for the Republican cause in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), and to refugees who fled Spain after the defeat of the Republican forces in April 1939. The organizations formally merged in January 1938 and became known as the Spanish Refugee Relief Campaign. These files include the organization's official reports, correspondence, pamphlets, broadsides, photographs, and publicity material, as well as several scrapbooks of news clippings.

Correspondence, memoranda, lists, announcements, petitions, legal briefs, proofs, photographs, motion picture films, clippings, and printed materials. These files of Joseph Crown reflect activities in the peace movement, lobbying with members of Congress, trips to peace conferences in Stockholm, Grenoble, and Toronto, a trip to Hanoi in 1972, and interest in the movement to impeach President Nixon. Correspondents include Henry Steele Commager, J.W. Fulbright, Edward M. Kennedy, George McGovern, Wayne Morse, and U Thant.

Congressional papers consisting of correspondence memoranda, speeches, reports, photographs and printed materials relating to her terms in Congress. The collection contains general correspondence and administrative files, as well as extensive subject files on a wide variety of topics with which Abzug was involved while in Congress. Also included are Legislative files, being the chronological files of background material for legislation considered on the House floor, and printed versions of legislation by Abzug and others. The Casework Files, relating to Abzug's advocacy on behalf of constituents involved in civil rights, housing, military, employment and related cases, are closed. Among the major correspondents are Carl Albert, Abraham D. Beame, Hugh L. Carey, Gerald R. Ford, Edward I. Koch, John V. Lindsay, Nelson A. Rockefeller, and Gloria Steinem. Materials added in 1981 include: draft transcripts of an oral history, appointment books, speeches and subject files (particularly on privacy and freedom of information) all interfiled in the collection and campaign materials press releases and newspaper clippings.

Letters, documents, clippings, and printed matter related to the work of the Citizens Union of New York, including correspondence, memoranda, and reports which survey, analyze, and criticize bills introduced in the state legislature and city council; 244 boxes of "Who's Who" biographies of candidates for city and state offices; files of campaign and election materials; records of affiliated "good government" organizations in New York City; and extensive financial records.
