The Telford Taylor Papers collect the work of Telford Taylor as a lawyer, legal scholar, writer, and historian. The documents include Taylor's work in Nuremberg with the International and Nuremberg Military Tribunals, his work within departments created by the New Deal, some of his legal case files (particularly on civil liberties cases), and other professional interests that Taylor had. The collection also contains Taylor's writings including drafts of his books, speeches, interviews, teaching materials, and much of the research behind these pursuits. The genre of materials includes official reports, correspondence, manuscripts, annotated texts and photographs. The collection also contains Taylor's research materials in the form of annotations, notes, and clippings.

In 1917 I︠A︡si︠u︡kovich was sent to the United States to serve as Chief of Information and Report Section, Division of Supplies, in the embassy of the Provisional Government. The items in this collection (correspondence, documents, and printed materials) chiefly concern his work in the United States. Also included is a letter by the Russian ambassador, Boris A. Bakhmeteff.

Collection includes correspondence and reports on military matters in Russia from December 1917 to April 1919. Among these are Riggs' notes on conversations with Lev Trotskiĭ and general Bonch-Bruevich in March 1918, and a number of the items concerning North Russia in 1918-1919. Also included is a report on the situation in Russia, September 1918, by Commander Lelong, French military attachʹe.

Correspondence, manuscripts, a document, subject files and printed materials of Sack. The collection chiefly concerns American claims against Soviet Russia, and the currency of Estonia and other successor states. The collection contains a 1928 document signed by George F. Kennan. The manuscripts include essays and memoranda concerning currency exchange, tax laws and a number of American court cases involving financial affairs immediately after the 1917 revolution. There are subject files relating to diplomatic claims concerning debts, and the Soviet-Estonian peace conference of 1920. Among the printed materials are clippings and various American statutes and laws.

Papers include typed carbons of correspondence, memoirs, speeches, and biographical materials. The correspondence consists of letters to and from Crane, 1869-1939, and telegrams and letters to his wife upon his death. The memoirs include information on his diplomatic service and travels. The speeches, 1910-1930, are largely based on his travels and activities. There are diaries by other persons of his trips to Albania, Russia in 1921, and to the Near East. Finally, biographical materials include editorials, articles, and speeches. While a sizable amount of material concerns Russia, the collection includes information on his other activities as well.

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, and printed materials of Taylor. The collection concerns his service in the American Committee on Public Information Press Bureau in Vladivostok, from the end of 1918 to March 1919. Included are carbons of outgoing correspondence; a report by Malcolm Davis on public opinion in the Zabaĭkal region; press releases and translations by the Committee; and newspaper summaries prepared by the Intelligence Section of the American Expeditionary Force in Siberia. There are American publicity photographs, including New York scenes. Printed materials of the Committee consist of all 14 issues of its "Druzheskoe Slovo" (Dec. 1918-March 1919), and several pamphlets. Also in the collection are two issues of Russian newspapers: "Voennye Vedomosti" (Novonikolaevsk) and "Ekho" (Vladivostok).

The papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, subject files, photographs, and printed materials. Cataloged correspondents are Mikhail Girs, Robert R. McCormick, Isidor Singer, and Stanley Washburn. Much of the material, including correspondence, reports, and printed materials, concerns German and Russian propaganda in the Japanese War; Russian diplomacy in the first two decades of the century; and Civil War, especially in Siberia. Printed materials include Imperial government publications and also publications of the White government in Omsk.

Two typescript memoirs: "Voennoinzhenernaiia komissiia russkogo pravitel'stva v Severo-Amerikanskikh Soedinennykh Shtatakh v Pervuiu mirovuiu voinu 1914-1917 g."; and "Iz Niu Iorka v Rossiiu i iz Sovetskoi Rossii v Niu Iork. Moe prebyvanie v Sovetskoi Rossii v 1917-1919 g. i ukhod iz nee" (combined ca. 50 p.). There are also two curricula vitae for Baldin, an offprint of an article on engineering and a typescript of an article on enginering by him.
