Included are the unpublished manuscripts of his biographies of Charles Laughton and of Viola Heise Bodenschatz, 1883-1967, a suspected Nazi sympathizer, and notes for his biography of Frederick Rolfe, Baron Corvo. There is cataloged correspondence from Philip Cortelyou Johnson and Sir Angus Wilson.

Papers of Dorothy Willard. As a result of her travels throughout many parts of the world, particularly Scandinavia and the Far East, she became interested in world history before 1600 and organized television shows relating to the early historical periods, produced in the series "International Historical Television Program." The collection contains miscellaneous correspondence, notes, drafts of the various television projects, and photographs.

Correspondence of Williamson covering his college years and his positions at Bryn Mawr College, the New York Public Library, the Carnegie Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation. A significant portion of Williamson's Columbia University correspondence and memoranda is addressed to or related to Roger Howson, University Librarian from 1926 to 1940. The manuscripts, chiefly typescripts, are concerned with library science and educational topics. Also, clippings and pamphlet files with some related correspondence and typescripts dealing with education and particularly the use of television as a teaching aid.

The Telford Taylor Papers collect the work of Telford Taylor as a lawyer, legal scholar, writer, and historian. The documents include Taylor's work in Nuremberg with the International and Nuremberg Military Tribunals, his work within departments created by the New Deal, some of his legal case files (particularly on civil liberties cases), and other professional interests that Taylor had. The collection also contains Taylor's writings including drafts of his books, speeches, interviews, teaching materials, and much of the research behind these pursuits. The genre of materials includes official reports, correspondence, manuscripts, annotated texts and photographs. The collection also contains Taylor's research materials in the form of annotations, notes, and clippings.
